TGINs Tea Tree + Olive Oil Detoxifying Hair & Scalp Serum is a product that I stumbled across in the store. I initially was attracted to the applicator bottle which makes oil application easy. I also love how this product has only FOUR ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, peach kernel, and tea tree oil. Oil blends are my favorite because each ingredient contributes to an overall great result.
Tea Tree Oil🌱 - has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help with an itchy and dry scalp.
Olive Oil🌿 - contains oleic & linoleic acid that promotes moisture retention in the hair & scalp
Coconut Oil 🥥- easily absorbs into the hair & scalp to help moisturize
Peach Kernel Oil🍑 - non-greasy, moisturizing oil
My Routine
To moisturize/hydrate my twist, I lightly spray my hair with water or a leave-in conditioner, apply a hair lotion ( Palmers Coconut Oil Hair Milk Smoothie), then follow up with oil. Since this product is a lightweight oil/serum, I occasionally double up with a heavier castor oil so I'm good to go for the next 3 days! After each application normally follows up with a scalp massage to increase blood circulation.
This product is perfect for maintaining a healthy scalp and ensuring proper nourishment for new growth!
